2. Page numbers on the electronic versions of the Evidence from
Hearings correspond to the transcribed, typescript versions made in the
1970s and do not always correspond to the original
pagination. When consulting the originals after using the
electronic copies provided here, the page numbers may be off by, at
most, 1/2 page.
3. The views expressed in the Commission and related text are not those
of the UBCIC, unless they are views expressed and published under the
UBCIC name.
4. The words used in the Evidence from Agency Hearings are not those of
the UBCIC.
5. Statements made in the Evidence should be interpreted within the
context in which they were made. These primary historical documents
reflect the attitudes, perspectives, and beliefs of their time, and

6. This is a project in progress. Features available for some
of the Agency hearings may not be available for others.
7. While performing full-text searches, Subject headings were
determined throughout the metadata process, therefore, some agencies
will not have categories listed that were indicated on the subject
heading list.
8. The Bibliography is a Working Bibliography and will have additions
inserted as time progresses.
9. Additions to the French language version of the web site will take
longer than additions to the English language version. The
English version may be more up to date.
